Clean room, tidy common areas, friendly staff, varied and excellent quality breakfast.
Strength: home made sweets (excellent banana bread) Weakness: bathroom with tub (complicated to get in/out to shower and water that comes out copiously from the flag wall).

Hotel Caravel is a few blocks away from Stazione Garbatella. The staff speak Spanish, English, and Italian (probably other languages as well). I had the pleasure to stay at Caravel for seven days with my father and they were very accommodating to his needs (such as keeping his laptop safe and providing him with an electric kettle for a night time cup of tea). They also have electric plug adaptors, and they offer third party laundry services. The hotel has accessible ramps, and the venue has a clothes store, bar, breakfast bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very varied with some food items made in-house.
I hope I get to stay with them next time I visit Rome. My favorite breakfast (which I had almost every day) is seen in this picture.

Lovely hotel, however there is not allot around it. And the area is not very aesthetically pleasing.
